Patatas bravas, also known as patatas al la brava or spicy potatoes, is a dish native to Spain. Typically it's made of white potatoes cut into small cubes and fried and served with a spicy sauce.
I don't handle heat very well so I didn't make mine overly spicy but you can add chillis and chilli flakes to your liking, to make this dish as spicy as you would like.
Patatas bravas is a super simple dish to make; I made mine using left over roast potatoes, it's a great way of using them up! You can use any cooked potatoes you have left over or cook some specifically for this meal, you wont regret it!
If you've had a long day at work and still have to come home to make a super tasty meal, this one is perfect! It takes minutes to make, it's filling and it's incredibly tasty!
It's a great comfort meal and will soon become a family favourite!

Patatas Bravas - Serves 2
Ingredients
3 Cups Cooked Potatoes
Simple Salsa - Check out our recipe here
Salt & Pepper - To Taste
Method
Slice the potatoes into 1cm cubes and put them into a hot frying pan with a little bit of oil.
Fry the potatoes a little to crisp them up.
Add the salsa to the potatoes and cook until the salsa has mostly soaked in.
Season. You can add extra chillis if you want your patatas bravas to be spicy
Serve.
Enjoy!
