Vegan Cauliflower Wings

One of our favourite meat replacers is cauliflower, so of course when we were having a bbq we had to include it! These vegan cauliflower wings made the perfect addition to our bbq!

These cauliflower wings are so easy to make, it only takes about 5 minutes to get them in the oven and then they cook for 20 minutes; 10 on each side.

The great thing about these is you can make them in the morning and then heat them up on the bbq later to get that smokey flavour!

These also go very well with a dip for a starter or snack. You could also enjoy them on the side of a roast!

To make these cauliflower wings you need to first cut your caulifower into medium florets. The size is up to you really, if you want to make them smaller or larger so they are bigger on the bbq. Just remember cooking time may vary.

You then need to make a sauce, like this to dunk your cauliflower in.

This mix is made from milk, water, flour and fajitat seasoning. You can buy the fajita seasoning from the shop or find a recipe here.

The mix needs to be thick enough to stay on the cauliflower, but not too thick that there is too much on the cauliflower. You can judge the thickness by what your prefernce is. If the mix is too thick you can add a little more water and if it's too runny you can add some flour.

If you want to make spicy cauliflower wings you can add some chilli powder in with the seasoning.

I think these went really well on the bbq, I will definitely be having them again!
