Vegan Chocolate Orange Mousse

If you are looking to treat yourself and your family this vegan chocolate orange mousse is perfect!

With only a few steps, it only takes 10 minutes tops to make this mousse and then you just have to let it set in the fridge.

This is a great thing to make in the morning, let set in the fridge and enjoy in the evening!

It looks so impressive, perfect for a dinner party or date night!

This mousse only requires 4 ingredients to make.

If you've ever enjoyed a chocolate orange, before you were vegan, this mousse will be great for you. It tastes exactly the same!

You can top this chocolate orange mousse however you would like to. I like to top mine with some orange zest, and occasionally some cream.

This mousse is quite sickly so the cream mixes with it perfectly!

You can buy vegan squirty cream from the supermarket, or you can make your own whipped cream;

To make whipped cream you just need to whisk the solid white part of coconut cream (after it's been in the fridge over night).

Whisk until the cream has stiff peaks.

It's as simple as that!

Now just pipe it onto your mousse or cakes!

I hope you love this as much as we do!

Marisa

Chocolate Orange Mousse - Makes 3-4

Ingredients

1 Tin Coconut Milk - Kept in the fridge overnight

150g Chocolate of Choice

1 Large Orange Juice

3 tbsp Golden Syrup

Orange Zest to top

Method

Place the chocolate in a glass bowl with the orange juice.

Place over a saucepan of boiling water and let the chocolate melt. This is called a bain marie

Place the solid part of the coconut milk in a medium mixing bowl. If it's still a little soft you can still use it. As long as you can remove the water from the mix.

Add the melted chocolate to the coconut milk, along with the syrup.

Mix until all ingredients are combined.

Pour into your chosen dishes

Place in the fridge until set, this should be 2-3 hours

Top with orange zest and cream if you would like

Serve

Enjoy!
