This Vegan Peanut Butter Smoothie is healthy and delicious! It is full of natural protein, and is a great option for your breakfast.
You can see in the photos that I used small glasses for this smoothie. This size glass served two. One of these glasses was plenty for me as it is a very thick smoothie. However, if you have a bigger appetite, pour the smoothie into a larger glass. Double the ingredients if you want to serve more people or have larger portions.
An hour or two before making the smoothie, cut the banana into slices and place in the freezer. This can also be done the night before if you are planning to make your smoothie early on in the day.You will need to slice the banana before freezing it as a whole frozen banana is very difficult to slice or blend. The banana keeps the smoothie thick. By freezing the banana you will give your smoothie a more iced texture, as well as keeping it cold.
I used smooth peanut butter for this recipe, but crunchy peanut butter would work just as well. The chunks will become smooth in the blender.
The vanilla in the recipe adds a sweeter taste to the mix. However, there are plenty of alternatives you can use instead. 1 tablespoon of either honey or syrup adds another natural element to this smoothie. Try using honey local to your area.

Peanut Butter Smoothie - Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 Banana, frozen
⅔ Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Vegan Milk
½ tsp Vanilla
Method
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve
